3D measurement systems

The product portfolio of INSENSIV also contains 3D measurement systems.

Depending on the tasks either a stereo-camera system or the laser cut

procedure is used, which is based on the principle of triangulation and exists

of a combined unity of camera and laser.
 

The stereo procedure is used if for the measurement merely one snapshot is

possible due to on-line evaluation, if color information plays a role or if it is a

partly clear object, as for example with the bottle measurement in a crate.
 

The laser cut procedure is used preferentially if a continuous speed of the

object to be measured or the measuring system itself is guaranteed. An

example product of INSENSIV is the measurement of parcels which are

transported in a machine on a conveyor belt.
 

Beside the supply of the pure 3D information INSENSIV systems offer an

internal evaluation of the data and the suitable control of actuators.

In particular the stereo systems of INSENSIV are customised solutions.

On this occasion, cameras, lighting and case form a unity.
 

The resolution of the image sensors and the computing power are scaled

according to your setting of tasks. INSENSIV offers 3D systems with color

and grey value sensors and can be conceived for inside as well as outside

applications.
